As we travel from place to place, I am always longing for a permanent home. A place where we can live in peace, hunt and farm the land, and raise our children in the Shawnee ways. I believe that someday that will happen. Until then I will continue to farm and take care of the family. We hold true to our customs and practices and this will hold us together until we reach our home.
