Story Tellers

History has been past down by story telling and story tellers.  Many of our dear Appalachian Stories have been told over and over.  At Heritage Farm Museum & Village, we continue that tradition through Story Tellers and through the many mannequins that are found throughout the museums.

Voices

Over the decades, the "Voices"  of the common folks have told the stories of what life was like for those who lived it.  Telling and retelling these stories have helped to pass down history.  Today, those same "Voices" allow us to relive and understand our heritage.

Books

Heritage Farm Museum & Village have a wide array of books on the subject of Appalachian History and ways.  We pride ourselves on collecting those books that help us to explain the customs and culture of these hard working folks.

HF Story Tellers

Experience the magic of 'history coming alive" at Heritage Farm Museum & Village.  Our Story Tellers will enrich your visit as they tell and retell our stories.

Technology

Heritage Farm Museum & Village utilizes technology to enhance our visitor's experience while at the Farm.  QR Codes, visual displays, recordings, and other usages of technology are used.  We encourage our visitors to bring their devices when they visit.
