You can tell a lot about people by looking at their laundry. It is not what they have but how they take care of the clothing that tells me about them. Sometimes people will wear their clothes over and over without washing them. It is very hard to keep them clean but most folks seem to like what I do. My mother use to say, “treat the laundry like your wearing it”. I guess that way I will do my very best to make them clean. No matter how hard I work, I try to spend time with my family. My husband works hard at the factory and usually there is not much ‘alone time’ for us. To me, Family is so important. From time to time, my daughters help me with the laundry but most of the time they are doing other chores around the house. It takes us all to keep things going. After doing laundry all day long, I also have to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I always have a pot of beans on and make biscuits and cornbread most of the time. This is how my mother, and her mother before her did it. Life has been hard but because we work together, it becomes a labor of love.
