My name is Gladys June and I own Perry's Country Store. I bought the store from Edmond Simms who was a country peddler. Owning a store was just a dream a few years ago. My husband, Major, owned the saw mill at Lewis Creek. He was a hard worker and loved me so much, but was taken at an early age by an accident at the mill. I will always love him and miss him. I sold the saw mill and bought Perry's Country Store. That was 5 years ago and life is still hard, but work takes my mind off of it. I guess you could say that helping people has helped me. I consider each customer like my family and dearly love each and every one of them.
