Cleaning up around the house has been made easier because of the new broom Jonas made for me.  After splitting a log, burning holes across the top, we put corn husk in for the broom bottom.  It really works well on our dirt floor.  It makes my work easier and much faster. With the help of my boys, we keep things more tidy and are going to start getting ready for the winter. I have even started chopping work and have been able to apply the chinking to the spaces between the logs. Many of the things I know do was something that I never dreamed I could do. much to my surprise , we have adjusted to life and  look forward to building an additional room on to the house. This will allow us to think about adding on the the family. A little girl would add to our family and be a ‘mommy’s little helper’.
