So let me tell you how I got the nick name of 'Little Corn'. When I was about two my Mother found me in the corn shed eating raw corn. She told me that if I didn't stop I would grow corn husks inside my body. Another time I found a bag of corn and dropped it all over the place. I guess you could say that the corn really did make me grow up. As we got closer tour new home, I remember hearing my Father tell my Mother that, 'while we didn't have a lot of things, we had each other'. Once there, the wagon was turned into a farm wagon. I sometimes still go sit inside it and dream about our trip. I hope to grow up and be able to help around the farm. After all, that is why we made the trip.
